Here it is!! I hope it’s somewhat enjoyable and that some constructive criticism will be left!

Lesson: never wear your favorite flannel shirt when changing fluids, I can relate and had a little chuckle there.

And it’s a life lesson I will probably ignore in the future.

Fun video to watch. Keep them coming.
Question, have you replaced the timing chain on your car yet? I know thats a PITA.

Thanks!
The funny thing is that it’s actually a timing belt. I changed it in April with the help of a friend who’s wrenched on 944s for years. It’s honestly not that bad of a job. You need to have the right tools, patience, and a good eye, but it can be done within a couple hours really. I’m not ready to tackle the job on my own yet, but difficulty-wise, I’d rate 6.5/10 honestly.

If you use the handle to lower the jack, you can actually do it at a slow pace so it’s not so nerve racking and you dont get a jack stand slipping out.

I realized that in part of the video that isn’t here when I lowered the car after finishing up. :p
So lowering the car will be much easier on the mind from now on!

Smart move, parking to the side. You never know when you might need to make a parts/tool run.

The funny thing is, that’s not even why I moved it in the first place, but then it hit me when I got to the store how screwed I would have been had I left the 944 where it was.
The original reason as to why I moved it was that I would’ve been laying on the sidewalk and that would be rude. :p

There’s a 944 with a shitty matte paint job and a flat tyre that’s been sitting there since I moved to where I live now about a year ago, if I ever pick it up (lol) at least I’ll know how to do this with it.
Nice combo of cars btw.
